Mariella Bertelli is an international, Toronto-based storyteller who tells fluently in English and/or Italian. Her wide repertoire includes folk, fairy and literary tales, especially from her Italian heritage and stories from her Canadian newcomer’s experience. As a storyteller and through her work as a member of IBBY (International Board on Books for Young People), Mariella is also an advocate for children and young people’s rights to books, literacy and information.
